A hectic week!

Well, Christmas trading has well and truly started in Preston. Our gallery visit from Bob Barker went very well, with a crowd of people – customers and artists, hanging onto his every word as he demonstrated some of his techniques and discussed his inspirations. Since then, we haven’t stopped – our picture framers are working flat out up in the workshop to ensure that all orders are completed when the customer wants them – they usually have a little wager every year on what time the last framing order comes in – it is not unusual for a customer, usually a man, to want something  framing for a present at 4.00pm on Christmas Eve afternoon. This will be our 25th Christmas, and we have not let a customer down yet with failing to have their framing ready for Christmas, however late they bring it in.

Only a short post today, as I have a mountain of work to complete, but I will add a couple of photos of Bob Barker’s visit, and don’t forget, if you want to see Bob’s work, or indeed the work of any of our artists, visit www.originalartshop.co.uk. We will be dispatching all next week, but it will be worth a quick phone call or email just to check that the item you want to order, is in stock and ready to go. http://www.originalartshop.co.uk
